Fjäderholmarna, Stockholm, Sweden

Halo everyone!

Today I want to take you back to beautiful Sweden. I hope you enjoyed my last post about Brännö, because this place is very similar. It’s also an island. Our trip to Sweden began in Stockholm. After very intensive one day sightseeing we wanted to visit a bit more intimate and calmer place.

This small island is located only 20 min boat trip from Stockholm but you can see there everything what Stockholm Archipelago means. It’s perfect place if you want to escape from typical big city rush but you don’t have a lot of time. When we get there I was very surprised. In a positive way. The landscape was very beautiful, for me the most eye-catching were small, wooden huts, all  painted red. Very typical scenery for Sweden. We decided to make short walk around the island and then sit somewhere for a cup of coffee. On Fjäderholmarna are few small handcraft shops, coffee shops and even a brewery. In one one of “the little red wooden hut” we met an old man selling some local art . The most surprising was music played there. Very calm, nostalgic and very Swedish.

Do you know what I like in Sweden? They really love drinking coffee. Yep! As a huge coffee lover I discovered that Sweden is a perfect place for me. You can buy good coffee almost everywhere. We stop in small cafe called Systrarna Degen then we went to try some local beer at Fjäderholmarnas Bryggeri. It was a perfect and very relaxing trip.

Enjoy my photos and if you’re thinking of going there, don’t think too long, simple go!

Have nice evening and see you soon! xxx
